THESE leaked images reveal Microsoft's answer to the Apple Watch – and it looks awesome.
The Nokia design team was quietly working on a colourful wearable for Microsoft
The colourful square-faced smartwatch was being developed by the Nokia design team before Apple announced its first
wearable device.
Codenamed MoonRaker, the Microsoft wearable was reportedly set to run a small screen version of Windows 10 – the firm's upcoming universal operating system.
Nokia's wearable appears very similar to the Apple Watch, which was being developed around the same time.
The MoonRaker watch takes a number of design cues from the Lumia smartphone range and was reportedly due to be released alongside the Lumia 930 in November last year.
Facebook, MixRadio and Step Counter was also built-in to the wearable
The MoonRaker Watch had very similar functionality to modern day smartphones

These promotional images for the MoonRaker were discovered by serial technology leaker, Evan Blass.
Microsoft reportedly shelved the Nokia MoonRaker as it was preparing to launch its own wearable, the Microsoft Band.
The Windows firm chose the fitness-focused Band over the MoonRaker because it had more functionality, The Verge has reported.
The never-before-seen marketing materials for the MoonRaker reveal the watch had built-in email, phone and messaging apps.
It even featured a Camera Remote – a feature included with the Apple Watch and a number of other competitive wearables.
Facebook, MixRadio and Step Counter was also built-in alongside a number of interchangeable watch straps and faces.
Microsoft is rumoured to be launching a second generation Band later this year alongside the worldwide release of Windows 10.
